For the final blockout i've exported what i have back into Maya so i can create models more directly.
My thoughts are that the walls will need more coverage such as beams and such to break up the molecularity. So i've created an additional model that will also be where emissive light will be cast.
I think this will be fine for now, some models are about finished and will just need UVs and perhaps i could go over other objects depending on how texturing goes.
